East Perth never used to look so nice when daddy was in Perth studying. They started to develop the area and is now a very nice area to stay in. Some parts overlooks the Swan River and if you take a walk in the park, you can even see Burswood Casino in the distance.

Our first overseas experience, with the exception of Malaysia!

Perth. Our first real overseas experience. We wanted to bring Nat on his first plane ride and what better place then down under (Perth) where daddy studied for 5 years. We also wanted to bring Wai Por as it was her first time to a western country. So it would be a good experience for all. We planned a trip from the 23 - 27 March 2007, over the weekend. Our itinerary was planned to be as easy going as possible as we knew that with Nat around, things has to be easy going.

Briefly, we flew in on Friday afternoon, checked into the Sebel Residence, East Perth and then to Harbour Town for dinner and shopping. The next day, we headed to Cottesloe Beach to have brekkie at The Blue Duck. We spent some time at the beach too as it was Nat's first time walking on a beach! Then we headed to Fremantle to visit the markets. We headed to dad's place for a look see and then back to the hotel for Nat's dinner. We went to church and had Italian food that night!

We started late on Sunday. We took our time to drive to Mandurah. We headed to Falcon Beach for a community activity. After which we headed back to Freo to get more fruits! We headed back to the hotel and daddy bought food from Old Shanghai to eat at the hotel.

Monday, we took a drive to Caversham Wildlife Park to see native Australian animals. We visited the Margaret River Chocolate Factory as well. Lunch was at Midland Gate before we headed to Tua Koh's farm for a visit. We then visited a vineyard and headed back to the hotel. Daddy bought Indian food for dinner (Tandoor). Then Daddy and Mummy went to Vultures for coffee on their own.

Tuesday, we had breakfast in a park at East Perth. Daddy went to the bank to settle some issues. Then we headed to Harbour Town for some last minute shopping and quick lunch. Then it was straight to the airport for our flight home.

A great vacation for Nat we believe and we hope for wai por as well!

To the night safari we go!

Hmmm..... it was the school holidays and one of your aunts suggested we all head to the night safari. There were some coupons floating around for us to use. So your 2 aunts and mummy organised a night safari trip! We thought that you would be intrigued by all the animals as the only ones you were exposed to so far were cats and dogs!

Wearing a cap!!!! Finally!!

10 March 2007. We have been trying to get Nat to wear a cap, but it was all in vain. But finally, we managed to get it on long enough for a nice photo.

Taken on Tuesday 20 Feb 2007. This is a picture of Daddy and I before we went to Uncle Justus and Auntie Ailing's place over at Choa Chu Kang. Mummy gambled away there with her friends, while Daddy accompanied me in the play room. There were so many toys I could not decide which one to play with first!

Happy Prosperous New Year to one and all!

Taken on 18 February 2007 at home. This was the first day of the Lunar New Year, and we were all prepared to go out visiting. We went first to Gong Gong and Ma Ma's place. Then we went to Sa Ee poh's place at Diary Farm for a lunch! Yummy food from Bumbu at Kandahar! Lovely. We then came home where I had my beauty sleep. I wanted to go to Da Ee's place for dinner, but I overslept, so Dadee and Mummee decided to stay home instead. Anyway, we were all tired!!

The new IKEA at Tampines

A new IKEA opened near our home and we decided to visit the place.

Nat was so attracted to this band. And in particular, the guitarist. I wonder why huh???

One thing about kids is that, they fear nothing. Not like us adults, who always conform to what we have been conditioned since young. Nat can just walk all the way to the front, whereas the adults would just watch from a distance!!

BARNEY and gang!

Your parents were so excited when we learned that there will be a Barney and friends short performance at United Square on 2 Dec 2006. We wanted to surprise you!! We managed to get there on time, but we could only get a second floor view of the stage. It was crowded man!

And we even got you your first Barney bag!!

So we hope you enjoyed it... because we did!

Born 8th October 2006....A new soccer hero?

A new soccer hero in the making......... Keegan Teoh di di....... from Uncle Ben and Aunty Eunice, our very good friends! And not forgetting Kevin gor gor, Keegan's brother. And if you are reading this Nat (when you have grown up), Kevin Keegan used to be a very famous soccer player when I was young!! So soccer runs in this family!

Your mom and I went to visit the Teohs at Gleneagles Hospital and can you believe what they served Aunty Eunice? Have a look and tell me what it looks like?

Mid Autumn Festival

Has been some time since we blogged. So many things happening. Travellings and all.

Anyhow, here is a photo taken on 6 October 2006. We celebrated the festival downstairs by the pool with all of Nat's cousins. We had lanterns, moon cake and some ice tea (packet drinks). Could not really see the moon and that lady who was supposed to be there!

A father's dismay

Son Nathaniel is sick. He was diagnosed with flu this morning when we brought him to the doctor.

I guess what dismayed me was Nat was sleeping peacefully last night from 8pm to about 9pm when he woke up because he was coughing quite hard. He then turned and puked onto my shirt. As I picked him up with Lina on hand, he puked more. I brought him the the sink and he puked again. Aiyo. We were all getting smelly!!. But I guess, seeing him puking was not fun. You know he is such a bundle of joy, so active and cute. To see him puke like that reminded me of my bout of "food poisoning" or gastric flu.

Anyway, we have to monitor him, to bring down his fever, as well as to make sure his cough is suppressed, or he would be vomitting everything out!! So we have Rhinathiol, Ibuprofen and progesic to help us.

Doc says he would probably be better on Monday as he was still laughing in the clinic playing with the doc's toys.
